Our work in 2024
We research varieties, test and inspect seed and plant material and test for diseases and pests. In addition, we work closely together and actively share our knowledge with companies, organizations and governments. For example, we worked on a more intensive collaboration with five other inspection services and we are closely involved in the discussions in Brussels about the new PRM regulation.
We highlight two collaborations in separate articles
We have recently worked intensively with CFP and the Ministry of New Zealand. This resulted in an accreditation, so that Europe can now export fruit crops to New Zealand more quickly. In addition, we worked with various organisations from the sector on a more extensive edition of the standard list of Dutch names of cultivated plants. As a result, we are increasingly using the same plant names, which benefits our work and the sector.
