The three sector boards submit an annual proposal for the (statutory) inspection fees to ensure the costs of inspection activities are covered. The fees are then adopted definitively by our board. Subsequent approval from the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature is required. Naktuinbouw is not permitted to use revenue for any other internal purposes. No financial support from the Ministry of LVVN is received for our activities. The cost maker-cost bearer principle is applied when establishing the statutory fees.
